The problem
A fintech needed to modernise to lower its cost of delivery and reduce operational complexity, and its leadership team needed a business case they could make a decision on.
What we did
Ran a fixed-scope Cloud Readiness Assessment, mapped each workload to a target reference architecture on AWS, and produced a recommended backlog of activities. Throughout, we set out plainly what was known, what was not, and what each option would take.
The result
The assessment became the foundation of the business case put to leadership.

Migration waves sequenced to beat a VMware renewal

The problem
A VMware licence renewal was approaching, and the business needed to know whether it could move to AWS before the bill arrived.
What we did
Assessed the estate, gave every workload a migration strategy using the 7 Rs (retire, retain, rehost, relocate, repurchase, replatform or refactor), placed each one in a migration wave, and produced a landing zone design and runbook.
The result
A plan timed to finish before the licence came due, so the renewal decision became a choice rather than a deadline.
